History
PracPlus was established to assist other doctors in the area in transitioning into private practice.
Our journey began after Lisa, founder of the company, returned from Scotland, having supported her husband as he completed a specialist orthopaedic fellowship. Before her time in Scotland, Lisa gained invaluable experience with an 11-year career in the corporate world of waste management. Upon returning to South Africa, Lisa assisted her husband with the setup and management of his orthopaedic practice in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Taking this task in her stride, Lisa gained extensive insight into the business challenges medical practitioners face daily.
And so, in 2015, PracPlus was established to assist other doctors in the area in transitioning into private practice. Having identified that the administration burden was high on a doctor’s list of woes, PracPlus started supporting other medical practitioners with their administrative challenges. With a determined team, the business grew through word of mouth and saw more medical specialists signing up for our services. Today, PracPlus employs a dedicated and enthusiastic group of staff who provide their clients with professional and powerful administrative, organisational, communicative, human resources, accounts, negotiation, and computer skills.
Lisa believes in the positive, empowering, life-changing power of upskilling and education. With this in mind, she constantly sends her staff for further training to ensure PracPlus clients receive the optimum service.
